Resolved

Again, from Jonathan Edwards. He write this at the age if 19!

#4 Resolved, never to do any manner of thing, whether in soul or
body, less or more, but what tends to the glory of God; nor be, nor
suffer it, if I can avoid it.

I love Edwards. Truly an intellectual and spiritual titan.

Have you ever read his paper On Insects (actually about spiders)? Amazing stuff. I think he was only about 11 years old when he wandered into the forest to study spiders and write a paper on what he discovered.
